You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Ardpatrick Development Projects (ADP) fund raiser, Ardpatrick Strictly Come Dancing is on in the Park Hotel, Charleville, this Saturday night December First, doors opening at 7 pm, starting at 8pm. ENTRY ON THE NIGHT BY TICKET ONLY AND NO TICKETS WILL BE ON SALE ON THE NIGHT. The organisers of the event are taking no seating reservations as seating is on a first come, first served basis only. The fund raiser is to provide funding to purchase two properties beside the National School for the community. All local and not so local businesses are being approached by members of the committee for donations, sponsorships, advertisements or provide a spot prize for the night. CHRISTMAS PARTY The Senior Citizens Christmas Party will take place on Sunday December 9 in the Community Centre at 2pm, Mint Catering from Bulgaden Castle will provide the meal and Ger Moloney music and song.

CALENDER/CARDS The Community Council will produce a local calendar for 2019, a number of local photographs will feature, and copies will be for sale in the coming weeks at €10.00 each. The National School Children are producing Christmas cards as a school fundraiser, so the Community Council will not produce a card this Christmas.

TIDY TOWNS Members of the Tidy Towns Group travelled to Listowel on Thursday evening of last week for the Midwest Awards, Catherine Herbert and Ann McGrath accepted the Bronze Medal and the two framed certificates, all were displayed in the Church over the weekend, prize money will follow at a later date, the awards were won last September when the National results were announced.  

CARDS The weekly 45 continues at the Greenwood Inn every Thursday night at 9.15 pm, all are welcome.
