FIXTURES Congratulations to the super Limerick team and management who delighted us all in the All Ireland Semi-Final V Cork Sunday July 29, winning by 4 points after extra time, 3-32 to 2-31. We wish Richie McCarthy and Jimmy Quilty the best of luck, as all roads lead to All Ireland Sunday in three weeks’ time. Ticket information for club members will follow in the next week. The Premier Intermediate championship will understandably be deferred now until after the All Ireland.
Hard luck to the Limerick ladies footballers who lost on Saturday July 28 to Derry on a score line of 0-8 to 0-7. The next match in 2 weeks v Carlow is a must win match. Hard luck also to Tom Coughlan who captained the Limerick Tag rugby team to the regional finals last weekend. Great display, losing the final. Please check the papers and Facebook for the Junior B fixtures.
